Hemophilia has been a part of my life since childhood. I grew up with an older brother who had severe Factor VIII deficiency. My involvement continues as I parent my teenage son who is also affected by hemophilia.

My volunteer experience as Executive Secretary and Board Member in the Cleveland Chapter of the National Hemophilia Foundation, and as a Board Member on the Ohio Department of Health Hemophilia Advisory Committee gives me a unique perspective on the problems and solutions facing the hemophilia community. I continue to be active in the fundraising efforts of my local chapter, including participating in such activities as golf outings, Amish and Mennonite health fairs, and child care for FAMOHIO.
