From an early age I have experienced the challenges and obstacles of hemophilia. My father had severe hemophilia but was subsequently cured when he received a liver transplant. Growing up, education and understanding were key essentials to coping with this disorder. I never knew that my experience and knowledge would later be put to the test.
My association with the bleeding disorder community was renewed when my son was diagnosed with severe hemophilia A. With his diagnoses came my commitment to dedicate my time and energy to helping those affected by bleeding disorders. I want to make sure that families dealing with the many issues surrounding this disorder have all the tools to deal with whatever challenge they may face.
I am so glad to have the opportunity to aid the community in this important way. My position as Regional Care Coordinator offers me the unique opportunity to reach and out and help in ways that I may not have been able to in the past. Feel free to contact me today!
