Dave Tignor
Regional Care Coordinator | Nashville, TN
I live with severe Hemophilia Factor VIII deficiency, and my ankles are my target joints. My wife also has a platelet disorder. Interestingly, we met at hemophilia camp when we were just 10 years old! We have two children--a daughter and a son.
I have been volunteering in the hemophilia community since I was 16-years-old. I have served as a counselor and activities director for the Tennessee hemophilia camp for 15 years and have attended other camps across the country. In addition, I stay involved with support groups, fund-raising events, and other programs through my local bleeding disorders foundation and the bleeding disorders community abroad.
My educational background consists of an Associate of Science degree from Motlow State Community College and a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Middle Tennessee State University. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, camping, rock climbing, skeet shooting, hunting, playing guitar, and spending time with my wife and children.
As a Regional Care Coordinator for Matrix Health, I work closely with the company pharmacists, nurses, and insurance specialists to make sure customers are utilizing every aspect of Matrix Health’s outstanding services. I am honored to work for Matrix Health and look forward to continue serving the bleeding disorders community through their excellent model of customer service during a time when customer service is less of a priority with other home care providers.
