As the father of two sons who had severe hemophilia, one of whom passed due to complications from receiving tainted infusion product and one of whom who passed due to complications regarding his inhibitor, I have an extensive personal history of dealing with hemophilia and its complications.

My continued education in the health field, has allowed me to acquire a multi-faceted understanding of the challenges facing the bleeding disorder community. I am past vice-president and Board member of the Northern Ohio Hemophilia Chapter and past president of the MANN Group at the height of the HIV/hemophilia era.
