Hemophilia has been a part of my life since childhood. My introduction to the Hemophilia community came swiftly as my brother, Danny, was diagnosed with severe Hemophilia as well as an inhibitor. Assisting in Danny's care gave me valuable experience that would later come in handy when my son, Matthew, would also be diagnosed with Hemophilia and an inhibitor.
I have been an active advocate in the hemophilia community ever since - whether it be working with Hemophilia of North Carolina, HFA, NHF, or in my current position of Regional Care Coordinator here at Matrix Health.
I take great pride in my job at Matrix Health and am always eager to share my wealth of knowledge and experience to anyone in need.
