Community Outreach Nurse Educator | Mason, OH

Originally from Georgia, I now live in Cincinnati, Ohio. I live with my two teenage sons, both with severe Hemophilia A. My youngest son is currently fighting an inhibitor and is on daily immune tolerance therapy. Four of my nephews also have hemophilia.

Hemophilia has been an integral part of my life. My knowledge of bleeding disorders is based on my personal experiences as well as my profession. I am an active volunteer and has been extensively involved with many bleeding disorder and HIV related causes. I have facilitated and spoken at numerous educational meetings. I have a Bachelor's and Master degrees in Nursing. Currently, I am working on my dissertation to complete my PhD. My concentration is in Hemophilia and Shared Decision-Making and Evidence-Based Practice.
